On average, the average user spends 10 to 40 minutes a day checking email. And most of the time is spent on deleting unnecessary mailing messages, in which interest has long been lost. Contrary to all the assurances of the mailing list authors, it is not so easy to unsubscribe from the annoying notification.
It is necessary
- - URL of the mailing source
- - login, password or other registration data from the account on the resource
- - feedback address with the mailing source
Instructions
Step 1
Open one of the mailing list messages and find the function "Unsubscribe from messages" in it. This hyperlink can be worded in different ways. As a rule, it leads to the account activation page in the mailing system. But the system can immediately provide the user with a menu with a button "Unsubscribe", which must be clicked. In rare cases, this function does not open the resource window, and sends a corresponding request to its own certification authority about the end of the distribution to the given email address.
Step 2
Enter the credentials that you used during initialization on the resource. In this case, the system asks for a username, password or E-mail, to which the account was registered. If this data has been lost, then on the page you need to find a function that allows you to restore access to your account. It may be called "Forgot password", "Restoring access", etc. Click on the link.
Step 3
Wait for the window to load and fulfill all the requirements described in the form. The system can request any additional information specified during registration: an answer to a secret question, an additional e-mail address, etc.
Step 4
Find a feedback address or related service on the site. As a rule, resources publish this information in the administrative block of the page or in "Contacts". The letter can be drawn up in a free form, stating a request to unsubscribe from the mailing list. Save a screenshot of the page with the typed text of the message in case the distribution does not stop. In the message, be sure to include your email address and describe why you could not unsubscribe from the mailing list yourself. If, after sending a complaint, messages continue to be sent to your mailbox, then you need to go to the next step.
Step 5
Open the next message containing the mailing list, notify the mail server that the addressee is sending spam. According to the law, spam is any correspondence received without the consent of the recipient. Send the corresponding letter to the mail server feedback and attach a copy of the screenshot taken when contacting the resource making the mailing. This will be evidence of your refusal from the services of this site. Put the address from which you are sending to the black list of your mailbox.
