We used to know soap as a disinfectant and cleanser. But now soap making is a whole art. Moreover, the soap, created by hand, is much more useful, because the soap-maker selects the ingredients himself.

Soap and scrub - two in one
Soap and scrub - two in one

It is necessary

  • Baby soap;
  • Base oils: almond, cedar and olive
  • Glycerin and Vitamin E
  • Essential oils
  • Excipients
  • Water
  • Dishes for a water bath
  • Children's sandbox molds

Instructions

Step 1

Soap fillers are prepared first. If these are dry flower petals, then they need to be soaked. If it is ground coffee (for example, for a scrub soap), then additional preparation of the filler is not needed.

Step 2

You need to grate baby soap on a fine grater. In order to sneeze less when rubbing, you need to preheat the soap on the battery.

Step 3

After that, you need to take several base oils, a teaspoon each, a teaspoon of glycerin and pour into the dishes. If vitamin E is indicated in the recipe, it must also be added at this stage. Then the dishes with the mixture of oils must be placed in hot water.

Step 4

After that, the dishes with the mixture are heated in a water bath. Then, little by little, soap shavings are added; during the addition, the mixture must be stirred. If the mass does not dissolve, you need to add a little hot water.

Step 5

After the mass has reached the state of a batter, you need to add essential oils. The oil is added in a few drops so as not to overdo it with the smell.

Step 6

At the very end, the selected filler is added to the soap mass. If these are petals, then they interfere with the mass. If it is coffee, then it is added when pouring.

Step 7

The soap is then poured into baby tins or small plastic containers. You can experiment with multi-colored layers if you first weld two multi-colored masses. Or sprinkle coffee on top of each container to create a scrub soap.

Step 8

After a lapse of time (about two hours), the soap hardens, then it is removed from the molds, cut, if necessary, dried. The soap is then beautifully packaged if the soap was prepared as a gift, or placed in a soap dish for consumption.
