If, after a long break, you want to resume your old email, then depending on how long you have not used it, you can resort to one of the well-known methods.

How to get an old mailbox back
How to get an old mailbox back

Instructions

Step 1

Log into your account on one of the mail services by entering your username and password. If you have not used this e-mail within the period specified in the agreement, then you can resume its work by clicking on the "Unblock" or "Restore" button. You will be able to access the mailbox again, but the information previously contained in it will not be saved. Please note: on the most popular services, e-mail is blocked if it has not been accessed for 3 months.

Step 2

If you or other persons who have information to log into your account have deleted the mailbox, then within a month from the date of deletion, you can contact the technical support service or the service administration with a request to restore it. Indicate in the letter your username, password, security question and the answer to it (your mobile phone number, another e-mail address). After a while, your mailbox will be restored, again, without saving the previously existing information. If you have forgotten the password to your old mail, then in many cases it will be enough to indicate a secret question and answer, another e-mail, phone number, but only on condition that this information was specified in your account.

Step 3

If you deleted the mailbox along with the account, then it will be impossible to restore it. The only thing you can do in such a situation is to create a new account with the same name. But if during the registration process it turns out that the login is already taken by another user, create a mailbox with a similar name.

Step 4

To recover an Outlook mailbox that was deleted using the Get-RemovedMailbox cmdlet, use the same command in Windows PowerShell. However, this method can only be used if no more than 30 days have passed since the deletion.
