Some information sites offer visitors to subscribe to a newsletter that will be sent to the specified email address. To unsubscribe, you need to use the appropriate function on the site or feedback from the administration.
Instructions
Step 1
Open one of the letters that come by mailing to your email inbox. Carefully read the text of the letter and see if it contains the steps you need to take to unsubscribe from the mailing list. Most often, this information is located at the bottom of the letter in small print. Click on the link offered by the service and you will be redirected to the site from which the letters are sent. Here you will need to confirm your intention to unsubscribe from the newsletter sent, or you will immediately see a message stating that the subscription has been successfully canceled. Also go to your mailbox settings and try to find the "Unsubscribe from all mailings" function.
Step 2
Go to the news site and find the contact details for the administration. Write to the specified email address a letter in which you inform about your intention to unsubscribe from the mailing list. In this case, the administration will remove you from the list of subscribers manually.
Step 3
If the letters you send do not contain information on how you can unsubscribe, and the site administration does not respond to your messages, add the addressee to the black list using the mail settings. In this case, the mailing will continue to arrive, but will be immediately automatically sent to the "Trash" or "Spam" folder.
Step 4
A mailing list that starts reaching the user without his knowledge is called spam. How to deal with such letters, you need to decide the owner of the e-mail box. You can apply filters to them, install an additional program that filters such messages, or contact the administration of the postal service with a request to stop further spam. Also, avoid visiting suspicious sites and do not click on unfamiliar links or banners that might add you to the spam mailing list.
