Nowadays, e-mail provides ample opportunities for communication and exchange of information. The electronic mailbox has long ceased to be a luxury, but has moved to the rank of necessary things. We write and read emails every day, and there are already more advertising letters in our inboxes than there are on TV commercials. The truth is, communication by e-mail is not always effective if people do not follow simple rules of correspondence.

Instructions

Step 1

To write a letter, go to your mailbox and select the "Write a letter" command. In different mail systems and programs, this command may look like "Write a message" or "New message". This command should be used if you are initiating communication. If you need to write an e-mail in response to someone, go to this message and click the "Reply" button. Then the recipient's address will be substituted automatically, and the prefix "Re" will be added to the subject.

Step 2

Be sure to fill in the "to" field. In this field, enter the address of the recipient to whom you are going to write a letter. Be careful - only Latin letters and numbers are used in e-mail addresses, no spaces. You can specify multiple recipients by listing their addresses separated by commas. If the recipient's address is already in your address book, enter the first letters of it, and the system will prompt you for the correct address.

Step 3

Fill in the Cc field if you need to create an email to multiple recipients. If you need to hide sending to several people at once, enter additional addresses in the "Bcc" field.

Step 4

Write the subject of your email in the appropriate field. This field is optional, but it is still better to indicate the subject so that the recipient knows what the message is about and does not accidentally delete it, mistaking it for spam. In the next field, write the actual text of your letter. Do not forget to say hello - even though this is an e-mail, no one has canceled the elementary rules of politeness.

Step 5

Attach the file to the message, if necessary, by selecting it using the "Browse" button. You can write compose email and attach multiple files to it at once, but email systems have file size limits. In this case, it is better to archive the files. Check if you have specified everything in your email and click the "Submit" button.
