The Law on the Mass Media of the Russian Federation regulates the issues of registering sites as mass media. It approved the necessary documents and describes the registration procedure. Pay the media registration fee. Do it at any bank, both in cash and non-cash. Take a receipt for payment (or a payment order for cashless payments). The receipt must be attached to the application.

Step 3

Prepare the following documents. If you are an individual entrepreneur or an individual, you will need a copy of your passport certified by a notary. If the founder is a legal entity, an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (Unified State Register of Legal Entities) is required, no more than a month ago. A copy of the extract should be notarized.

Step 4

After collecting the documents and paying the fee, apply to the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications. If your publication will be of regional importance, you must submit an application to the representative office at the regional level. The application will be reviewed within one month.
