Internet connection problems can occur for a variety of reasons. If your ISP uses a dynamic IP, then you can resume working in the network by restoring or updating it. This can be done using standard system tools.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to Start Menu - All Programs - Accessories - Command Prompt. You can also start the console by searching in Start. In the Find Programs and Files box, type Command Prompt, and then select the result that appears from the menu.
Step 2
In the window that opens, enter the ipconfig prompt and press Enter. The ipconfig console utility allows you to display the details of the current Internet connection and manage running services such as DHCP and DNS.
Step 3
After reviewing the required parameters and finding your own current address, enter the command: ipconfig / release Press Enter. This command allows you to disconnect from the network. It removes the configurations of all current IP addresses for all used network connections.
Step 4
To resume browsing the Internet, run the command: ipconfig / renew This command renews the current IP for all network adapters. Close the console using the exit command, or by clicking on the close button in the upper right corner of the window.
Step 5
If IP recovery fails, then the problem is caused by your ISP. Call support to consult and find out the real reason for the network unavailability.
