Disconnecting the Internet can sometimes cause a nervous breakdown, and the famous case of Anton Uralsky is an example of this. But what causes the Internet shutdown itself?
Instructions
Step 1
In the case of ADSL, there can be several reasons for the loss of communication. In the well-known phonogram, the operator of the provider's support service was absolutely right: since the subscriber's IP address is allocated a dynamic one, once a day the connection is really broken in order to change it. And if a modem combined with a router is used, then the subscriber may well not notice this break, since after it an automatic reconnection is immediately carried out (it takes about thirty seconds), and nothing is displayed on the computer screen.
Step 2
If, when accessing via ADSL, at least one telephone is connected not through a splitter or microfilter, but directly, this will cause not only an unpleasant hiss in the receiver when the modem is working. When there is an incoming call, as well as in those moments when the user of the device picks up and hangs up the phone or dials a number, reconnections will take place. However, during the conversation, access will still not be closed.
Step 3
When accessing through dial-up, the connection will be broken if you accidentally pick up the handset on the parallel phone. Receiving an incoming call in such a situation is impossible, since when the modem is working, the number is busy. Also, both the modem itself and the provider's equipment sometimes break the connection at the moments when the signal transmission deteriorates. You have to reconnect, sometimes not the first time, because the number is busy.
Step 4
In a regular GSM network, voice traffic is given priority over data transmitted via the GPRS protocol, for which currently free channels are used. When there are too many subscribers who want to talk, there are no free channels, and Internet access is interrupted. It is also interrupted when the owner decides to talk on the phone himself, as well as during the transmission and reception of messages, sending USSD commands.
Step 5
In 3G networks, the situation is more favorable. Their bandwidth is significantly improved compared to GSM networks, and data and voice transmission is possible at the same time. Traffic in such a network has a lower cost, which led to a sharp decrease in the cost of unlimited tariffs for mobile Internet. But if the subscriber is on the move, he has to switch between base stations, some of which support 3G, while others do not. At the time of changing stations, access is sometimes temporarily interrupted. And the operators themselves sometimes make a forced disconnection from time to time.
Step 6
When accessing via WiFi, sometimes already ten meters from the router, the reception becomes unstable. Radiation with a frequency of 2.4 GHz in properties is somewhat reminiscent of ordinary light. It is easy to block it with a wall and even a palm.
Step 7
Failures when accessing the Internet via a twisted pair cable can be caused by malfunctions both on the subscriber's side (damaged network card) and on the provider's side. Sometimes the reason is a damaged cable (moreover, the place of damage in the section between the subscriber and the provider can be anywhere), as well as preventive measures taken by the provider. And if after changing the network card, even with the correct settings, access does not resume, the reason is that the provider has control by MAC addresses. It is enough to inform the support service of the new MAC address, and the connection will be restored.
