If, while listening to the radio over the Internet, you like a song, and you would like to save it on your computer, you can do it immediately by recording it using a special program.
It is necessary
To record music from the Internet or any other sound source (movie, audiobook, etc.), you need a program for capturing audio. It can be FairStars Recorder, All Sound Editor, All Sound Recorder or any similar program. You can download the programs on the official websites of the developers: www.fairstars.com and www.mp3do.com
Instructions
Step 1
If you have used FairStars Recorder, launch the program while the music is playing. Click on the Rec Option button and select “Stereo Mixer” in the Record Device section. Close the settings window and click on the Record / Play - Record button. Enter the name of the file to which the music will be recorded and select the folder where you would like to save this file. Click OK. Recording will start automatically. Press the Stop button to end recording. Now you can open the saved file and listen to the recorded one.
Step 2
If you have chosen All Sound Editor, then your actions will be easier here. Run the program and click File - New in the menu. While the music you want to record is playing, press the Record button in the program (red circle). Press the Stop button (blue square) to stop recording. Now save the file by choosing File - Save as - MP3 from the menu.
Step 3
If you downloaded and installed the All Sound Recorder software, after starting the software, click on the Create New Recording Work icon. In the settings window that opens, enter the file name and, if desired, change the recording settings (Settings). Close the window and click on the Record icon. Recording will begin and can be interrupted by pressing Stop. At the same moment, a folder window with your recording file will open.
