Sometimes, to use information from a web page outside the computer, you need a hard copy of the entire web document or a portion of it. All modern browsers have built-in facilities for sending a page directly to the printer without intermediate copy / save manipulations and without using any additional programs.
Instructions
Step 1
In the Opera browser, if you need to print not the entire page, but only some part of the text, select the desired fragment and right-click outside the marked text. In the context menu there is an item "Print" - select it to open the print dialog. This dialog can also be opened by pressing the CTRL + P key combination or by opening the "Print" section in the browser menu and selecting the item with the same name. In the "Range of pages" section of the print dialog there will be a check mark opposite the "Selection" item - if you change your mind and decide to print the entire page, and not just the selected fragment, then move the check mark to the "All" item. Make sure the printer is connected and supplied with paper and click the Print button
Step 2
In the Mozilla FireFox browser, open the "File" section in the menu and select the "Print" item, or simply press the key combination CTRL + P. This opens the print dialog. In this browser, unlike Opera, if you have selected part of the text on the page, then in the dialog of sending to the printer the checkbox next to the item "Selected fragment" is not automatically set. You need to do it yourself or print the entire page. The document is sent for printing by pressing the "OK" button.
Step 3
In Internet Explorer, you can expand the "File" section of the menu and select "Print", you can right-click the page and select the same "Print" item in the context menu, or you can press the keyboard shortcut CTRL + P. In any case, it will open a dialog for sending a document to a printer, where you need to set the "Selection" checkbox on your own, if you need to print only the fragment marked on the page. Then click the "Print" button.
Step 4
In the Google Chrome browser, the "Print" item is present in the context menu, which opens by right-clicking on the page, as in the browser menu on the icon with a wrench. The CTRL + P keyboard shortcut also works here. The document is sent to the printer by clicking the "Print" button in the dialog box that opens.
Step 5
In the Apple Safari browser, right-clicking on a page opens a context menu with the "Print page" item, which you should select. In the "File" section of the browser menu there is also a corresponding item - "Print". The shortcut keys CTRL + P work here as well. Safari is the only browser that cannot print a fragment of text selected in a page - the "Selection" item in the print dialog always remains inactive. So just click OK to send the entire page to the printer.
