Step 1
Sometimes it happens that the start page or home page gets lost and some other site loads instead. Most often, the home page is assigned by services such as Google, Yandex or other search engines. Knowing its exact address, you can easily make a change to the desired value.
Step 2
Mozilla Firefox. After starting the browser in the main window, go to the top menu "Tools" and select the line "Settings". In the window that opens, go to the "General" tab. In the "Home page" block, specify a link to the "By default" web page. To restore a blank page, enter about: blank in this field (this function works in all browsers).

To open the start page at the initial start of the browser, you need to specify the "Show home page" item in the "When Firefox starts" block. Click OK to close the window and save your changes.

Opera. The settings are launched by pressing the Ctrl + F12 key combination. Go to the "General" tab, put the mouse focus in front of the "Home" line and enter a link to the site. To set the main page to the one that is currently open, click the "Current page" button. To open the home page when the browser is launched, select the Start from home page item opposite the “At startup” line. Click OK to close the window and save your changes.

Google Chrome. To open the window with settings, you must click on the icon with the image of a wrench, which is located in the upper right corner. In the menu that opens, left-click on the "Parameters" item. In the settings window, open the "General" tab. In the Home page section, select the "Open this page" option and enter the site address.
