Updating the Dr. Web anti-virus program on a computer that does not have Internet access turns out to be quite feasible provided that at least one computer in the organization using the anti-virus is connected to the Internet. This operation will require certain computer skills and administrator access to computer resources from the user.
Instructions
Step 1
Create a directory c: / drweb on any disk to initiate the process of creating a mirror.
Step 2
Create directory c: / drweb / drwebupdate.
Step 3
Find the files of the DrWebUpW.exe, drweb32.key and update.drl antivirus directory located at x: / Program Files / DrWeb and copy them to the c: / drweb directory.
Step 4
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Run" item to launch the "Command Prompt" tool.
Step 5
Enter value
C: / drweb / DrWebUpW.exe / GO / UA /DIR:c:\drweb\drwebupdate/rp+c:\drweb\drwebupw.log
in the "Open" field and click OK to launch the DrWebUpW.exe update utility.
Step 6
Create a copy of the contents of the created directory on removable media and disable the anti-virus self-defense (for a stand-alone computer (OSPK).
Step 7
Click the "Start" button for the vspjdf main menu of the system and go to the "Run" item to launch the "Registry Editor" tool (for a stand-alone computer (OSPC).
Step 8
Enter regedit in the Open field and click OK (for a stand-alone computer (OSPC).
Step 9
Expand the registry branch
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / IDAVLab / DrWebUpdate / Settings
and change the value of the UpdateUrl key to I: / drwebupdate (for a stand-alone computer (OSPC).
Step 10
Close the "Registry Editor" and enable the antivirus self-defense (for a stand-alone computer (OSPK).
Step 11
Use the previously created mirror to update the antivirus on all computers in a network in which only one computer has an Internet connection.
Step 12
Open access to the c: / drweb / drwebupdate folder on the network with the read-only attribute (for computers connected to the Intranet).
Step 13
Specify the path to the mirror folder on the rest of the network computers in the settings of the DrWebUp.exe update utility. and change the user on whose behalf the update task is launched in Windows Scheduler to the local administrator of the computer being configured (for computers connected to the Intranet).
Step 14
Save the changed settings (for computers connected to the Intranet).
Step 15
Return to the main Start menu and go to Run to launch the Command Prompt tool to update your antivirus without changing the settings in the registry.
