All Internet browsers keep a history of the pages visited by the user, and various data are recorded in the cache, such as video and audio files, pictures and various scripts. All this is done for ease of navigation and saving Internet traffic. In order to prevent the browser from keeping history, you need to make the appropriate settings in the program.
Instructions
Step 1
If you are using the Opera browser, open the settings window to disable history. Go to the "Advanced" tab, in the left menu select "History". Select "0" in the "Remember addresses" drop-down list. After that, the visited pages will not be displayed in the history, and they will not be displayed as autocomplete. Here you can also prevent the browser from using the cache, in this case the contents of the visited pages will also not be saved.
Step 2
Users of the Mozilla Firefox browser need to open the settings window and go to the "Privacy" tab. In the drop-down list, select "will not remember history".
Step 3
If you use Internet Explorer to work with the Internet, open the Internet Options window and go to the General tab. In the "History" group, enter "0", after which the links of recently visited pages will not be saved. To configure the cache, click the "Options" button in the "Temporary Internet Files" group. In the "Options" window that opens, drag the "Use up to disk space" slider to the left edge or enter "0" in the corresponding window.
