For the majority, the tariffs are the so-called "unlimited", which, for the most part, do not limit the quantitatively transmitted and received data. But, nevertheless, there may often be a need to track traffic and keep a clear record of it.

Step 1
To control traffic, you can use standard tools provided by your provider, but they may show inaccurate information (rounded, etc.) and are almost always inconvenient (you need to go to the site, log into your account). Therefore, it is easier to use a third-party program that honestly counts traffic with bit accuracy and is always available in your tray.

Step 2
Having installed the program, we proceed to configure it.
Right-click on its tray icon.

Open Settings.
Step 4
In the "General" tab.
In the "Monitor connections" column, it is recommended to select the one whose traffic and speed you need to take into account.

Column "Tray Information".
Here you can configure how the program responds to mouse hover and clicks on its tray icon.

In the tab "Graph" and "Graph color" we configure the display of the speed graph.
Step 7
The "Notifications" tab is responsible for triggering any events.
Step 8
The Advanced tab allows you to customize the start of the week and the time format.
Step 9
The "Dial-up" tab provides settings for the respective modem types.
Step 10
By customizing the program for yourself, you can always quickly and visually see the consumed traffic for the day, month and year, as well as monitor the current connection speed in real time.
