To enter an account on the server, you must specify its domain name, as well as your own username and password. You can log in to the server, depending on its settings, through the web interface, or via SSH, VNC, Telnet or FTP.

Instructions

Step 1

To log in to the server through the web interface, launch your browser, and then enter the domain in the address bar. When the site loads, enter your username and password in the fields provided for this, and then click the "Login" button or similar (you can use the Enter key on your keyboard instead). If there are no fields for login and password on the home page, find the link "Login" or similar, follow it, and another page will load, on which these fields are present. In the same way, you can log in through the browser and to the FTP server, but the form for entering the username and password will be displayed in this case by the browser itself.

Step 2

To log into an account on the server using the SSH or VNC protocol, first start any client of this protocol (for example, PuTTY or RealVNC Free, respectively). Then enter the server's domain name, login and password in the fields intended for this. If there are no such fields, find the item corresponding to the settings in the client menu (its location depends on which program you are using), enter the appropriate data there. After connecting to the server, they will be transferred to it in encrypted form.

Step 3

It is not recommended to connect to the server via Telnet, as the password is transmitted in clear text. This can only be done if important data is not stored on the machine on which you are going to work remotely, and it itself is not used to perform critical operations. After starting the Telnet client, enter the domain name, and when the remote server asks first for a username and then a password, enter them. If you are using the telnet console program, start it by specifying the domain after the command, separated by a space, and then proceed as described above.

Step 4

To log in to the FTP server, launch any FTP client, and then fill in the fields for the domain, username and password. An exception is the Midnight Commander program, where they are entered in a different way. From the Left Panel or Right Panel menu, select FTP Connection. Then type a line like this: / # ftp: (domain name) and click Next. When prompted for a username and password, enter them.
