In order not to get lost on the pages of Internet sites, users save the most frequently visited places in the browser memory. Such "serifs" in the terminology of computer scientists are called bookmarks by analogy with books.
The user does not always save the bookmark in the subfolder in which he planned. Fortunately, browser features allow you to restore order to your bookmarks.
It is necessary
- Computer with internet connection;
- Installed browser (any).
Instructions
Step 1
In the browsers "Firefox", "Opera" and "Internet Explorer", the "Bookmarks" menu is located on the top bar. Click this menu with the left mouse button, then select the "Manage Bookmarks" group.
Step 2
In Google Chrome and Safari, instead of the panel, look for a wrench or gear icon in the upper right corner. Click it and find the "Manage Bookmarks" option (possibly "Bookmark Manager").
Step 3
A list of folders and links will appear in the window that appears or on a new page (depending on the browser). To move an object, move the cursor over it, press the left mouse button and move it to the desired location. To delete, select the object with the left mouse button, press the second and select the delete command. When prompted by the browser, confirm the decision.
If you want to copy a link, select it with the left mouse button, right-click, select the "Copy" command in the pop-up menu. Highlight the destination folder, right-click and choose Paste.
