A satellite dish is meant to be installed in such a place that there is no interference in its path: trees, houses and other obstacles can completely deprive you of the joy of watching new TV channels. In order to connect the antenna with a device connected to the TV, you need to prepare a cable. To do this, clean it to the core of the wire - a thick core. It must be cleaned with a knife and the enamel removed. Connect the bare cable to the F connector. The disc is also part of the connection chain - it is the adapter between the cable and the receiver. It is better not to use any electrical tape. Use heat shrink.
Step 2
Most of the frequently purchased satellite dishes sell exactly the copies with three "heads". The essence of setting up these goals is as follows. Values are set for each head and then directed in different directions to capture the best signal. The values for the antenna heads are as follows:
- central head - Sirius, frequency - 11766, speed - 27500, polarization "H";
- lateral head - Amos, frequency - 10722, speed - 27500, polarization "H";
- lateral head - Hotbird, frequency - 11034, speed - 27500, polarization "V".
Step 3
The principle of operation is simple. You need to adjust the center head, find its correct position. Do the same thing that was done before, in Soviet times and with Soviet antennas. First, you should roll your head clockwise, then counterclockwise. After that, use head movements from side to side. And so set the direction of the central head until a small signal appears. Stop at the point where the signal is issued. Continue driving, but only in this area where you managed to catch the signal. The total will be 60-70% of the input signal.
Step 4
After such a setting, any channel will show perfectly, but the 2 side heads were invented for a reason. They are designed to improve the signal during rain and thunderstorms. Setting them up is done in the same way. After the end of the aiming of all the heads of the satellite dish, the general setting will come to an end.
