Conditionally divide IP (ip) into gray and white. This is not an official, but a slang division - the color does not matter, it just happened. Gray IP addresses are local IP addresses and internal IP addresses, in fact, they are synonyms. If the IP address in the line starts with 10.0.0.0, 172.16.0.0, 192.168.0.0 - then this IP is gray, while others will be white. But if access to the Internet is realized through a router (router), then your computer is included in the local local network. Such a network allows up to 256 computers to simultaneously access the Internet, although it is usually limited to one to five home computers or telephones.

To find out the real IP address when they access the Internet through a router, you need to visit one of the sites - 2ip.ru or internet.yandex.ru. The first site will have a real IP address given by the provider after the lines "Your IP address:". For the second, the IP address is shown in the line "My IP:".
