Step 1
If you are one of those players who are not satisfied with the presence of snow in Minecraft, you can understand. This resource is very useful (for example, for fighting some hostile mobs), but its falling out on the ground can cause real problems in the gameplay - in the form of all kinds of lags. Especially in this regard, you run the risk when the power of your computer is far from ideal. Then any precipitation will be critical for his system (primarily because of the graphic load). In this case, turn off the very possibility of snowfall.
Step 2
When playing on a server where you have admin privileges, remove any precipitation and other undesirable natural phenomena by entering a simple command - / weather off into your console. Now you will have exceptionally sunny weather on your game resource. When you get bored with it, bring back the weather variety by writing / weather on. Also try one of the two interchangeable commands - / weather sunny or / weather sun. However, they do not always work if the server lacks some plugins.
Step 3
When you do not have admin powers, write cheats (if such is not prohibited on the resource where you play) that allow you to control the weather. Then, keep rainfall to a minimum with a dedicated team. Enter / weather rain 1 on your console - thanks to this, snow (or rain - depending on the specific biome) will last only a second. Also set the maximum duration of sunny weather with the / weather clear command. After this phrase, enter as large a number as possible - for example, 9999999. It will determine the duration of clear weather in seconds.
Step 4
If your installed version of Minecraft is older than 1.4.2, but released after 1.3.1, use a different command. True, it will be relevant after the beginning of the snowfall. Stop it by writing / toggledownfall in the console. Be careful not to use this command in clear weather. From this, on the contrary, it will begin to snow (or rain).
Step 5
When your problem is not only to prevent snowfall, but also to remove existing snow cover, proceed in a slightly different way. If snow removal is required in a relatively small area, take a bucket filled with water and pour its contents onto the area to be cleaned. Then collect the liquid again. The snow will be washed away, and snowballs will appear in its place. Pick them up in your inventory or store them in a chest or refrigerator - they will come in handy for many game tasks.
Step 6
Install the WorldEdit plugin to remove large snow cover. It allows you to make transformations in the space surrounding your character. Stand approximately in the middle of the area that you want to clear of snow. Then enter the special command - // thaw. Specify the radius of the territory from which the snow cover will be removed through a space. It will disappear instantly.
