Don't remember which sites you looked at? Or maybe you want to check if strangers have used your computer while you are away? Also, it will not be superfluous to find out what your child is interested in while "walking" on the Internet. And all of this can be done by looking at your browser's download history.
It is necessary
- - a computer;
- - your browser.
Instructions
Step 1
The history of visits to Internet addresses is stored by absolutely every browser. You can get acquainted with it by looking at its parameters. Data about all open pages in the Mozilla FireFox browser is stored in a special log. You can enter it by clicking on the "fox" icon located on the top panel, and selecting the "Journal" section, which records all the user's travels on the World Wide Web. In the log, the last closed tabs and windows will open in front of you, here you can also restore the previous session and view the data on all movements on the sites. To do this, open the item "Show entire log" and in the opened "Library" select the time period you need: "Today", "Yesterday", "Last 7 days" or "This month". You can view sites that you have looked at earlier by clicking on one or another link. You can open the browsing history in Mozilla by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + H. By the way, the addresses of the last used sites are deleted by selecting the corresponding item in the history menu or by pressing the Ctrl + Shift + Del keys.
Step 2
The Opera browser also stores the browsing history. It is located in the "History" subsection of the main menu. It also contains links to the Internet resources visited by the user. Addresses in the "History" can be opened and deleted.
Step 3
It is extremely easy to open the visited pages in the CometBird browser. To view them, just click on the "Journal" item on the top panel of the browser. Here you can also go to the CometBird home page, see the last opened tabs and windows. Full information of visits is stored in the "Show entire log" section. Temporary folders "Today", "Yesterday", "Last 7 days", etc. make browsing easier. You can also open the log using the keyboard keys. To do this, press Ctrl + Shift + H.
Step 4
The convenient service for accessing the browsing history contains a fast and practical browser Google Chrome. In the "Settings" section (it is indicated by the "key" icon) select the "History" item. Click on the link and go to the page where all the Internet sites visited by the user will open. In this browser, the search facilitates the specified time of visiting a particular address.
Step 5
For Internet Explorer users, the history of the pages visited on the Internet is also opened by pressing the CTRL + H keys. The history of all addresses will be displayed in the sidebar.
