Instructions

Step 1

Choose a personal computer that will act as a router in the future local area network. It is recommended to use a more powerful computer for this purpose. Also note that it should not be heavily loaded.

Step 2

If the selected personal computer has only one network card, then purchase a second network adapter, connect it and install drivers for it. Connect the second NIC to another computer.

Step 3

Open the Network and Sharing Center. Find the network adapter connected to the second computer and open its properties. Highlight TCP / IP Internet Protocol. Click the Properties button.

Step 4

Set this network adapter to a permanent (static) IP address with the value 213.213.213.1. Save the settings.

Step 5

Go to the second computer. Open a similar item of network adapter settings. Change the settings of this menu to enable this computer to access the Internet as follows: - 213.213.213.2 - IP address

- Standard subnet mask

- 213.213.213.1 - The main gateway

- 213.213.213.1 - Preferred and alternative DNS servers.

Step 6

Go back to the first computer settings. Create a new internet connection. Configure it and make sure it works. Open the properties of the created connection. Go to the "Access" menu. Allow the other devices on the local network to use this Internet connection. Indicate the network formed by your computers.
