Step 1
Before setting up ICQ in the iPhone, connect the Internet connection. Run the Installer.app already available in the iPhone, open the Sources tab. Click on the Edit button, then Add. Enter the address in the window that appears: https://www.stariy.com/app/. Then click Done and Refresh. A new source, Stariy. COM, will appear on the iPhone.
Step 2
In the Install tab, open the Stariy. COM folder. Install BSD Subsystem package. To do this, confirm the installation by clicking the Install button. After installation, turn off and turn on your Apple iPhone.
Step 3
Run Installer.app, go to the Install tab, open the Stariy. COM folder. Install the Apollo IM (RUS) program, confirming the installation by pressing the Install button. On the iPhone main screen, find the program icon, click on it. Select Add, then ICQ.
Step 4
To complete the ICQ setup in your iPhone, save your ICQ number and password. Please note that you do not need to enter a nickname. Activate your ICQ account by clicking Log In.
Step 5
If during the process of setting up ICQ in the iPhone a message appears: "Could not connect to authentication server: No route to host", then check if there is an Internet connection and if there are any problems with the Hosts file. If necessary, install the IM Chat 1.1.3 Fix patch, you will find it in the All Packages folder of the Installer.app program
Step 6
Send a test message to the user. You should have no problem typing in Russian and displaying names. You will see those contacts that are not hidden and are online. The contact list is picked up from the server, so you don't need to enter usernames.
Step 7
Messages from the current ICQ user in Apollo IM are displayed as chat. A message from another user will appear as a pop-up window. When the program is running in the background, the shortcut displays the number of received unread messages.
