ICQ, or “ICQ” as Russian-speaking users affectionately call it, is a messenger popular due to its convenient functions of chat, audio calls, video calls and the use of animated emoticons. However, due to the ability to access the contact list, user accounts often fall prey to hackers. The security measures provided for this case help to recover and return the ICQ password.
Instructions
Step 1
Run the program. Under the field "Password" find the link "Forgot your password?" Click and go to the password recovery page.
Step 2
Enter your ICQ number and digital code from the picture, then the "Next" button. After redirecting to a new page, you will be prompted to go to your mailbox, to which an ICQ account is registered, or, if it is unavailable, click on another link.
Step 3
If the mailing address is not available, click the corresponding button and follow the further instructions. If the mailbox is still active, go to it and open the letter from the ICQ administration. Follow the link indicated there and enter a new password. Confirm password change.
Step 4
Change the password for accessing the mailbox that manages your ICQ account. Log in to the messenger using the new password.
