When working in a network, one of the decisive factors affecting the speed of the task is the maximum optimization. To do this, use a number of simple recommendations, using which you can reduce the time it takes to complete the task.
Instructions
Step 1
Optimization, in principle, implies the reallocation of resources in favor of higher priority tasks. In the case of optimizing work on the Internet, we mean minimizing applications that use access to the network, in addition to those that you use in the here and now. There are a number of actions that must be taken depending on the task at hand.
Step 2
When surfing the web, the key parameter is page load speed. To increase this setting, disable all applications that require a network connection. These include download managers, torrent clients, as well as instant messengers and programs that are currently downloading updates. Close all applications located in the explorer panel and in the tray, then launch the task manager and control their shutdown in the processes tab. It is also advisable to disable programs that download updates - you can find them in the same tab by the word update contained in the title.
Step 3
You can also take advantage of the Opera mini browser feature. Its use is most reasonable when using a gprs modem. The specificity of this browser is that before being sent to your computer, a web page first passes through the opera.com proxy server, where it is compressed, losing up to eighty percent in weight.
Step 4
If you are using a download manager or torrent client, use the same recommendations as for surfing the web. In addition, turn off the limitation on the maximum download speed, and in the case of using a torrent, set the limits for the upload speed - no more than one kilobit per second. Do not launch any programs or applications until the download is complete in order to maintain the highest possible speed throughout the download.
