Instructions
Step 1
Download the distribution kit of Comodo Firewall Pro from the official website https://www.comodo.com/ or https://www.comss.ru/page.php?id=239. Install the program by running the setup file. The program will ask you to remove programs with similar functions: this applies to any program with the word firewall in its name. Reboot your computer after the installation is complete. It is also worth considering the fact that such programs must be installed in the system directory of the hard disk on the computer
Step 2
Immediately after loading the operating system, the Comodo program will start analyzing all programs that request access to the Internet, along the way asking about the settings. You can deny or allow any program to access the network. If you check the box next to "Remember my choice", then this rule will work all the time. The program will also set many rules automatically, so check all connections that this utility allows or blocks.
Step 3
More extensive program settings are available in the "Application Monitor" window, where a list of all programs that have ever requested an Internet connection is formed, indicating the port and connection protocol. Double-click the program name to open the fine-tuning window for each application.
Step 4
To view all connections, go to the "Activity" panel. The "Connections" tab displays all programs currently connected to the Internet. All important events are recorded in the "Journal". By configuring Comodo Firewall Pro, you will have control over all network traffic, as well as the access of any program to the Internet. You will immediately know if some new program, including a virus, tries to download something from the Internet.
