Step 1
In order to recover your password, go to the page for restoring access to the VKontakte website. On this page, you will be asked to provide your email address or username that you entered when registering on the site. Enter the data, after which an email will be sent to your email address. Step 2
Follow the link to the confirmation page, enter your mobile phone number that you provided during registration. Then a page will open where you need to enter a four-digit code. This code is sent to you in the form of an SMS message to the number that you entered earlier. The message with the code may not come immediately, but within 24 hours.
Step 3
Next, enter the four-digit code in the activation window. After that, access to your page will open and you will be prompted to enter a new password.

If you did not enter the phone number during registration or do not remember it, then you will have to use the help of technical support. To do this, on the VKontakt website, go to the "feedback" section and write a message asking you to recover the password from your page. In response, technical support specialists will ask you to send an electronic copy of your passport. They will also ask you to answer some questions regarding your account (how many people you have as friends, what messages were received and sent the last time, etc.). If you answered all the questions correctly, you will be sent a new password to your email address.
