In order to analyze how employees will react to the fact that a company plans to create an internal website for work and business communication, it is not necessary to immediately contact the webmasters. You can test its relevance on your own, with a minimum of material and time costs.

Instructions

Step 1

Collect in one folder all the documents necessary for the current work of the company. Save them in.html format. When saving, name the files without spaces, Cyrillic and special characters for further compatibility.

Step 2

Create an index file - the interactive content of your document base. To do this, you need a regular text file, in which it is enough to list all the names of documents and links to them. Save it in.html format in the same folder named index.htm. Copy the created folder to the network ("Shared Documents") or open access to it from your computer. To do this, select the "Shared" item from the context menu of the folder. Send information about creating the simplest internal site to all employees. Specify the address in the format: "network_computer_name / shared_folder_name / index.htm".

Step 3

Switch to the http protocol with the default site name (https:// domain_name/ document_name.htm). Set up a virtual domain (naming it, for example, intranet) and transfer the entire document archive to it. Check that all users of the company or on the server itself have routing to the site configured. The format for accessing the file with the required content will be https:// intranet /.

Step 4

Improve the site by increasing its functionality and level of interactivity. To do this, you will have to decide in which direction to develop it further. But in any case, you will need to: - transfer text documents from files to a database; - develop a database search system; - develop a registration and authorization system for employees who have access to the site; - install photo and video galleries; - provide means of communication with employees (forum, voting, feedback).

Step 5

Transfer the site to one of the existing CMS (on your own or using the services of a webmaster). If you have the time, develop your own system that will fully meet your requirements for an internal site, or purchase software from one of the well-known intranet platforms for this.
