The number of Internet sites is only growing every year. Perhaps the first language for creating web pages was HTML (HyperText Markup Language). With its help, you can create convenient and beautiful sites. But learning the language is quite difficult, so website creation was practically inaccessible to non-professionals. Now there are many programs that help to get around this obstacle. Among them is Microsoft Frontpage, included in the MS Office package.

Step 1
Run the program. A new (still empty) page of the future site should appear immediately. If this did not happen, find the item "File" at the top of the screen in the menu bar and click on it with the left mouse button. From the drop-down list, select the New submenu and then Page. Alternatively, you can press the key combination "Ctrl + N".
Step 2
Use site templates when creating a site using Microsoft Frontpage. You can choose a template both at the stage of page creation and later. In general, working with an HTML page is no different from creating and editing a document in Microsoft Word. The program interface is clear and understandable. You can add audio and video files, pictures. Make links to other pages of the future site. Adjust the size of illustrations and their location in the same way as in Microsoft Word.
Step 3
Often you have to edit already created pages. To do this, run the program. Select the Open submenu from the File menu. Specify the path to the file you want to edit and click "Open".
Step 4
To see how the future web page will look in a browser, use the "View" tab in edit mode. You can also select in the menu item "File" submenu "Preview".
Step 5
To save a web page, select the "Save As" submenu from the "File" menu. Enter the name only in Latin letters. Remember that the page address when it is loaded on the Internet will look like:

In addition, when creating a web page using the Microsoft Frontpage program, a folder of the following type will be created: page_name.files, which will store all pictures, audio and video files posted on the site.
