When working with some Internet resources, it may be necessary to periodically reload one or another page of the site. You can cope with the task both in manual and fully automatic modes.
Instructions
Step 1
The simplest option is a standard operating system tool designed to update the contents of the windows of most applications running in the OS Windows environment. Open a browser on the page of the site you need, and press the F5 key at the frequency you need. The page will dutifully reload, updating posts, photos, and any other content.
Step 2
This method will not work if you need to reload the page while continuing to work in another program or on the next browser tab at the same time. In this case, you can use any of the available extensions for your web browser, which will update any of the web pages in automatic mode.
Step 3
If you are using the Google Chrome app to view Internet content, open the Extension Management menu and click the More Extensions link in the Chrome Web Store. Enter Reload into the search box and select one of the many applications to automatically reload pages in your browser. It can be AutoReloader, Auto Reload, Easy Auto Refresh, or whatever.
Step 4
Install the extension. After that, its icon will appear in the upper right corner of the browser window in the application bar. Click on it, select a time interval for automatic reloading of the tab and start the process. The page will be updated without your participation, and you can do other things in parallel.
Step 5
If you are used to the Mozilla Firefox browser, go to the "Add-ons" section and enter ReloadEvery into the search bar and install the extension of the same name. After the installation is complete, restart your browser and right-click on the page. In the context menu, select the "Auto-update" command and set the value you need to reload the tab: 5, 10, 15, 30 seconds, etc. Activate the extension by selecting the "Enable" command.
