So, to set Yandex as the start page in the Mozilla Firefox browser, select the "Options" item in the "Tools" menu. A new dialog box will open. If you do not see the menu, right-click on the top panel in the browser window and mark the "Menu bar" item in the drop-down list with a marker.

In the "Settings" window go to the "General" tab and notice the "Home" field. Delete the existing address and enter: https://www.yandex.ru instead. Click OK for the new settings to take effect. If you are at this time on the main page of Yandex, you can also use the button "Use the current page", the address will be automatically registered in the corresponding field.

To customize the start page in Internet Explorer, choose Internet Options from the Tools menu. Make sure that the "General" tab is active in the window that opens. In the "Home page" field, enter the address of the Yandex search engine and click the "Apply" button. Close the settings window with the OK button. By analogy, you can customize the home page in other browsers.

There is also another way. Open the page https://home.yandex.ru. During the transition, the version of your browser will be detected automatically. Click the yellow button on the page that says "Download" or "Click here". In the request window, select the option "Make Yandex home page" and click OK.
Step 5
If a window asking you to open the Startpage.msi file appears, select the "Save" command, specify the directory for downloading the file and click the OK button. Click on the icon of the downloaded file, wait until the process is finished and click on the "Finish" button. The browser will automatically restart, and Yandex will be the new start page.
