Free hosting "Narod" enjoys well-deserved popularity among the owners of small personal sites. It allows you to create and edit pages both in design mode and manually using the HTML markup language.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the site, the link to which is located at the end of the article. When the page loads, click on the link titled "Build Your Site".
Step 2
If you have a mailbox on Yandex, enter your username and password. If not, click on the "Register" link.
Step 3
Enter your first name, last name and the desired login (it will match the third-level domain assigned to your site). If the login is busy, try another one. Then click the Next button.
Step 4
Come up with a strong password. Enter it in both of the fields provided for it. Select a security question, and then enter an answer to it that only you know and will be difficult to guess. If you have another e-mail box, enter its address. Enter your phone number to recover your password. In the last of the fields, enter the decryption of the proposed characters (captcha). Leaving a checkmark in place, click the "Register" button.
Step 5
After going to the next page, if you wish, click on the "Get code" button to confirm your phone number and follow the instructions received. Then click on the link "Start using the People service".
Step 6
Go to the site, the link to which is located at the end of the article. When the page loads, click on the link titled "Build Your Site".
Step 7
If you already have all the files needed to build the site (HTML, JPG, etc.), upload them using the form on the right side of the page. To download a large number of files at the same time, you will need the Flash Player plug-in installed, and if it is not there, you will have to download them one at a time. If you decide to create your site from scratch, click on the "Create Site" button. Then answer a series of questions about exactly what your resource should be.
Step 8
You are now in the "Website Builder" section. Here you can edit, add and delete pages. After completing work on the site, be sure to follow the link "Exit".
