Literature has recently become a truly popular form of art, and, oddly enough, it is among writers, not readers. The situation is understandable: every person who can express thoughts more or less smoothly, seeks to convey his experience or share fantasies. Printing in a publishing house is not always affordable, and specialized Internet resources come to the rescue.
It is necessary
- - Internet access;
- - a finished literary work.
Instructions
Step 1
It is not necessary to create your own website, although you can create a blog. In this case, each message will consist of one chapter of the book. However, be careful: the reader on the Internet is lazy and finicky. In the shared feed, the message should not be displayed wider than one screen scroll. Remove the rest under the "cat" using HTML tags. The volume of one post should not exceed 4000 characters with spaces, that is, one author's sheet. The end of the passage should be abrupt, causing a thirst for continuation. This will force the reader to move on to the next chapter.
Step 2
In addition, it is useful to visit special literary resources dedicated to large and small prose: the Proza.ru site, a special section of the site "The World of Your Creativity", "Samizdat" and similar resources. Register there as an author and post your work.
Step 3
Some literary resources have a limitation on the volume of the work. This can play into your hands: firstly, the reader, as in the case of blogs, will not get tired of reading. Secondly, returning to the work after a break, he will not be forced to look for the place where he left off. Third, you can combine passages of works in a cycle or volume, which is almost equivalent to one printed book.
Step 4
Some authors act even more sophisticated: they send out the chapters of their masterpiece by subscription, like Subscribe.ru and the like. Use this method too, but keep in mind the same tips: the text of the subscription should be short, catchy and cut off at the most interesting place.
