If you have a website, then it is in your best interest to make it as useful and convenient as possible in order to attract as many customers as possible. Exchange rates, gasoline prices - all this can delay the casual visitor. You can also install a widget showing the weather.
Instructions
Step 1
This service is provided by the site "Gismeteo" - a popular portal showing short-term and long-term forecasts. Go to the website www.gismeteo.ru. Scrolling down the page, you will see an offer to install their informer on your site. Click on the "Details" link.
Step 2
Choose which informer you want: flash or in the form of a picture, what size it should be, it will show the weather in one city or in several. After you have made your choice, click the "Get Code" button.
Step 3
Choose or customize the color scheme of the information block yourself. Indicate the city, information about which will be shown by the infometer. You can also choose the language in which the information will be displayed. Russian and English are available for the user.
Step 4
After the informer you need is formed, click the "Get XTML-code" button. Copy the text from the text box to the clipboard. Create a text document on your computer and save the code.
Step 5
Log in to your page as an administrator and go to the section for editing templates. Change the template of the page on which you want to see the weather by pasting the code copied earlier from the site. Save your changes and refresh the site to check that the weather information is displayed correctly.
Step 6
If you do not need simple informers where you can change only the color, you can receive data from Gismeteo in XML format. To do this, you will need to download a logo from the site and write a code in which you will indicate the information that you would like to see: temperature, pressure, relative humidity, wind speed and even the temperature as a person who went out into the street. The weather information on your website will be updated every six hours.
