Many of the users registered on Vkontakte know that groups are different. Some are easy to enter, and some require an application to be reviewed by the team leaders and therefore approved or rejected. This type of group is called closed. How can you create such a closed group yourself?
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the Vkontakte website. To do this, launch an Internet browser and enter www.vkontakte.ru in the address bar of your browser. The main page will open in front of you.
Step 2
On this page, on the left side, find the authorization block. If you are already registered on the site, you need to enter your login information: e-mail and password. Otherwise, you will have to register first, and then enter the site.
Step 3
After you log in, you will be taken to your page. On the left is a list of links such as “My Page”, “My Friends”, “My Photos”, etc. Select the link "My groups" from this list, click on it.
Step 4
Here is a list of the communities you belong to. In the upper right corner, click the Create Community button. In the window that opens, enter the name of your created group. The name should briefly but accurately reflect the meaning of the future group. Specify the type of community, for which select "Group" from the list. Click the Create Community button.
Step 5
Next, fill in the basic information about the group. Fill in the "Community Description" field, select a community topic from the suggested list, enter a website, if available. Adjust the settings as desired. Make your group's audio, video, documents, and other content public or private. With open access, all members of the community can add materials, and with closed access, only its leaders.
Step 6
And finally, about the main thing. At the very end of the list of basic community settings is the group type. By default, it is "Open". Click on it and select the "Closed" type from the list, so that you could enter the group only by invitation or by submitting an application. After all the work done, you must save. To do this, click the "Save" button.
