Different browsers provide an automatic web page refresh function. It is very convenient, since in this case absolutely no effort is required from the user. You can install auto-update either directly in the browser settings, or by installing a special application.
Instructions
Step 1
Users who have the Google Chrome browser installed can download a special extension to refresh pages. It is called Auto Refresh Plus and will be the most convenient if you have to follow frequent changes on any site.
Step 2
After you have downloaded and installed this extension, make the settings (click on the Auto Refresh Plus icon located in the top bar of the browser). You can enable auto-refresh of the active web page after a certain period of time. To do this, select one of several available intervals: 5, 10, 30 seconds or 1, 5, 15 minutes. By the way, there is also a manual mode for setting the time, and here it is only you who will decide in how many seconds or minutes the open page will be refreshed.
Step 3
To start the extension, click the Start button. Immediately after that, the required web page will be refreshed in the set mode. Note that this will continue even if the page is inactive. You can switch to any other tabs as needed.
Step 4
If you have the Opera browser installed on your computer, then right-click anywhere on the page to enable automatic updates. Next, select the item called "Update every". You will see a list with available intervals. Choose the one that suits you best (from five seconds to thirty minutes). In addition, you can set the update time manually: click on the "Set interval" line.
Step 5
Mozilla FireFox users can install the dedicated TabMixPlus application. You can download it on the official website https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/. It should be noted that this application supports not only auto-update of pages, but also allows you to manage other options. After installation, click on the desired tab with the right mouse button, then click on the item "Refresh tab every …". After that, it remains only to decide on a suitable time interval.
