Any operating system includes a component for displaying the date and real time. This data is taken from a counter that is built into the motherboard. Any watch tends to "lag behind" or "run forward". This moment was provided during the development of operating systems, so the clock can be synchronized if there is an Internet connection.

Step 1
The system clock is located in the system tray of the taskbar. The exact time is set through the context menu of the watch. Right-click on the clock, select "Date-Time Setting". In the window that opens, go to the "Date and Time" tab to set the exact values. Separately, you can set the value of hours and minutes, seconds are automatically reset to 0. To save the changes, click the "Apply" button.

On the Time Zone tab, select the appropriate zone. Check the box next to Automatic Daylight Saving Time and Back.

On the next tab, you can configure the synchronization with the time service. If you have an Internet connection, this operation will take less than a minute of your personal time. Check the box next to "Synchronize Internet time". Click the Update Now button. In less than a minute, you will see a message telling you whether the time synchronization was successful or not. If synchronization fails, you can click the Update Now button again, or select a different server and then try again.

It is also possible to edit the list of time servers using the registry editor. Click the Start menu, select Run. In the window that opens, enter the regedit command and click "OK".

In Registry Editor, navigate to the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionDateTimeServers] folder. There will be 2 registry keys in the right column of the folder. Each of them contains the address of the time server. Use any search engine to find working servers. Then change the registry key values to the ones you just found.

After restarting your computer, you can synchronize your watch with the new time servers on the Internet.
