If you are an active user of p2p networks, you probably faced such a problem as increasing the upload speed in your torrent client. The task is quite serious. A lot of information on this matter has already been written, but as a rule, it is lightweight and does not actually help to solve the problem. This article will describe the main canons for increasing the speed of return in the utorrent client.
It is necessary
Registration on a torrent tracker, a torrent client utorrent
Instructions
Step 1
Before you start increasing the upload speed of your client, you need to patch the tcp.sys file. This file is responsible for the maximum open number of connections on your network card. This can be done using the Half-open limit program. In this program, you must set a value that is equal to 50 or more than 50, but not more than 100 open connections.
Step 2
In the main window of the utorrent program, click the menu "Options" - "Settings" - "Connections". In this window, set any port value that will be over 40,000.
Step 3
In the maximum speed column, set the speed of your connection (1 megabit, 2 megabits, etc.) For example, you have 1 megabit. Divide this value by 10 and multiply by 0.8 (1024: 10 * 0.8 = 81.92). This value must be entered in the Global upload column. But if problems with loading pages persist, then lower this value by a few units.
Step 4
Alternative upload speed upload - you can set the maximum, but many recommend leaving the value equal to or less than 90%.
Step 5
If your ISP reduces some of your speed when uploading through a p2p network, then check the Protocol Encryption box.
Step 6
Go to the Advanced Option menu item. Set the new value to the parameter peer.lazy_bitfield = true. You can also change the value of the disconnect connection timeout: peer.disconnect inactive interval = 600.
Step 7
Adjust the cache value of your client, set the value to no less than 2 Mb and no more than 32 Mb.
