Minecraft is a game with literally unlimited possibilities: the player himself chooses the style of play, creates the surrounding world inhabited by various characters. The weather conditions also change from time to time, which can be controlled by the player himself.

Step 1
In the very first version of Minecraft - "Classic" from the weather conditions there was only rain, which could be turned on and off by pressing F5. More complex and detailed weather conditions appeared in Minecraft 1.5 Beta, which was released in 2011. The game now features periodic precipitation in the form of snowfalls and rains, which fell depending on the climate set in the game world. When it rains, the sky becomes darker, the sun, stars and moon are covered with clouds, the earth's surface becomes wet. The rain helps extinguish fires as well as growing plants from seeds. After the snow falls, the surface of the earth turns white and the water freezes. During rains or snowfalls, bright lightning randomly appears in the sky, and thunder sounds deafening.
Step 2
To switch the weather, open the game console and enter the command / toggledownfall. Please note that in a multiplayer game, you need to be a server administrator for this. In addition, you can add various weather effects to the game using numerous modifications (mods) that can be found and downloaded on the Internet. Each of the modifications brings something new to the game.
Step 3
Switch weather effects to influence the gameplay. For example, when it rains, you can fish faster in bodies of water. Lightning strikes the ground, setting it on fire, but the fire is extinguished by rain. If it hits a creeper (enemy creature), it becomes electrified. When lightning strikes a pig, it becomes a zombie pigman. If she hits a villager, he turns into a witch. For the player, thunderstorm effects are usually not dangerous, and the character can even sleep in the rain or snow. Moreover, the more you play in one world, the more often the weather will change.
