There are often interesting sites on the Internet that you want to save to your computer. But it is not so easy to do this, for saving you will need either deep knowledge, or a special program and instructions for it. Downloading all pages of the site can help, for example, the WinHTTrack program.
Instructions
Step 1
Download WinHTTrack from the official website at httrack.com - it's free, so get a fully functional powerful thing without paying a dime. You can get to the downloads page by clicking the "Download" button on the website. Then select the required version: Android, Linux, Windows 64 bit, Windows 32 bit.
Step 2
When the program is downloaded, run the installer, click “Next”. Specify the path where you want to install the program. Click the rest of the “Next” buttons and wait until the program is finally installed on your computer.
Step 3
Now start the WinHTTrack program and select the required language from the list. To do this, find “Language preference” at the bottom and set the item “Russian” there. To make the new language work, restart the entire program completely.
Step 4
Now create a project in the program. Without this, there is no way to download the pages of the site. Click "Next", then enter some name. Following this, specify a category, define the type of site and create a category based on this. For example, it can be a training site, or entertaining, informational, and the like. At the initial stage, it may seem like a trifle, but when many sites are saved, categories will allow you to better navigate among the multitude of information.
Step 5
Specify the directory where the site will be saved. Specify a folder with a lot of free space. Click "Next". Select the type of action to be performed - by default, this is downloading the site. But in the drop-down list you can select other parameters, for example, updating an existing download (when the site just needs to be supplemented with something new and not downloaded again). You can only download files, no unnecessary things. All these and other features are for professionals, and we will be satisfied with the installation according to the standard. Enter in the "Web addresses" field the address of the site from which you want to download all the pages. It can be copied directly from the address bar.
Step 6
Specify additional download parameters if you wish, if this is not necessary, then click "Next", followed by the "Finish" button. After the actions taken, the download of the site pages will start. Your task now is to monitor the download process in a special information window. It will show how many bytes have already been saved, how much time has passed, the number of saved files, the download speed, and so on. The downloaded site after some time will be located in the directory that you previously specified in the settings.
