So you save not only the time spent on shopping trips and standing in lines, but also your energy. Often, some goods are even cheaper abroad than in Russia. But to make a purchase online, you must have a valid account in one of the payment systems. PayPal is such a system.
Instructions
Step 1
If you do not have a Visa or MasterCard, you need to open it at a bank convenient for you. To do this, it is enough to contact the nearest bank branch with a passport. The bank employee will ask you to fill out a questionnaire. When you open a Visa or MasterCard card, you will most likely need to pay for the card's annual service right away, so take with you the amount of money that you want to put into your account immediately for making purchases and add 700-800 rubles to it (the approximate cost of annual service maps for 2011).
Step 2
You will not be able to receive a plastic card immediately, but after 7-10 days (the issuance period depends on the specific bank). When issuing a card, a bank employee is obliged to give you a phone number, by calling which you can find out if your card is ready. Upon receipt of the card and pin code, apply with your passport to the branch of the bank where you issued it.
Step 3
Now that you have everything you need, go to the website www.paypal.com. Click on the "Register" link. Next, select your country, language and click "Open an account"

Follow the instructions on the site. You will need to enter personal data - e-mail address, full name, residence address, zip code, phone number. Also, come up with a unique password to log into your account, you also need to enter it. For a higher level of security, it is better to combine uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers in the password. PayPal itself will tell you what level of security your password has - you can read the necessary hints in a pop-up window.
Step 5
Next, you will need to enter your bank card details. These include its number, expiration date in the month / year format (for example 09/2011). To confirm that this bank card is really yours, PayPal will ask you to enter the CVV code (CVC) - these are three numbers located on the back of the card in the strip where your signature should be.
Step 6
The payment system will write off $ 1.95 from your account and require you to enter the four-digit code of this transaction (payment operation). You can find out this code by calling your bank by phone. Just dictate the card number to the employee and ask for the code of the transaction performed by the PayPal system. You can also find out this code from the mini-statement of transactions made with the card. To do this, simply contact your bank branch with your passport and card.
Step 7
Enter the four-digit code you received into PayPal. Wait for a response from the payment system.
Step 8
You can now shop online. When registering on the websites of online stores and auctions, follow the instructions and if you are asked to enter your PayPal account, simply enter the email address that you used when registering with this payment system. When paying for a purchase, online shopping sites tend to redirect you to www.paypal.com where you enter your email address and password.
