You have an interesting book, movie or music composition on your computer hard drive, and you want to share it with other people, but you don’t know how to do it? Or are you wondering how to download the file you need from a torrent tracker, but you don't have enough rating? There can be many ways to solve this situation, but one of the most reliable and fastest is to upload a file to a torrent.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to visually demonstrate the process of uploading a file to a torrent tracker, we will use the rutracker.org service as an example.
Step 2
So, go to rutracker.org and look for the word "Registration" if you are not registered on it yet. Click on this word.
Step 3
A page will open, which will present to your attention the Terms of Use of the resource. Please read them carefully. When you finish reading, you will see the phrase “I agree to these terms” at the bottom. Click on it to proceed to the next stage of registration.
Step 4
Now fill in your registration information:
· Name (can be fictitious);
· Email address (it will receive the information necessary to complete the registration, so please provide a valid email address);
· Password.
The rest of the items are optional.
Read the User Agreement for the resource. If you agree with its provisions, check the box next to "I have read the User Agreement and I agree not to violate it." Click on the "Send" button.
Step 5
The resource will notify you that within 5-10 minutes an email will be sent to your e-mail address, which you specified during registration, containing a link to activate your account. Find this letter in your mailbox and click on the link. You are now registered with the tracker.
Step 6
Now start uploading the file to the torrent tracker. First, you need to create a torrent file for your movie, book, music track using one of the following programs (uTorrent; Vuze; Torrent Builder; BitSpirit, etc.). Since each program has its own characteristics, it is impossible within the framework of this article to describe step by step how torrent files are created in these torrent clients. Ask a question in a search engine (for example, in Yandex or Google), "how to create a torrent file in uTorrent" or in the torrent client that is installed on your computer.
Step 7
After creating the torrent file, go to the distribution design at rutracker.org. Select the forum section that suits your file by topic: movies, games, music, books, etc. Now create a new topic on the forum by clicking on the "New Topic" button in the upper left corner of the forum page. Fill in the subject with information about your file. This can be information about the quality of the video; screenshots from the movie; the size of your file, etc.
Step 8
When you're finished, upload the file to your torrent client. Add the torrent file you created earlier to the forum topic and click Submit. In the window that appears, click on the phrase "you need to download it" and download the torrent file registered on the resource to your PC. Now the torrent file has a special pass by which rutracker.org will recognize it. Open this torrent file in the client program, click "open folder" and specify the path to the shared file (movie, music, book, etc.). Save the result of your action and run the torrent file in the torrent tracker. If you succeed, then you will see in the client program that the file has begun to be distributed. Check the thread of your giveaway on the forum: you should be listed in the "seeds" category, not "leechers".
