Step 1

In the main window of the program, click the top menu "File", in the list that opens, select the item "Open". In the dialog box, you must specify the Export to File option and select Outlook Data File. Do not forget to indicate the file name of your letters (add the date of the message archive creation to the file name).

If you are not using programs that access mail servers, you can use their web clients. Of the existing representatives, at the moment, Gmail from Google is considered the most universal. Mail from Gmail allows you to archive any mail and save it on your server, which will save you free disk space. Plus, you can combine multiple mailboxes.

Step 3

All archived emails are stored in the All Mail section. Messages that were simply deleted disappear from the mailbox after 30 days, archived messages are stored forever. To archive a message, select it by clicking on the empty checkbox (square), then click the "Archive" button in the button bar above the message window. Pay attention to archived letters, if you received several letters from one addressee, they form a chain, i.e. you can manage messages with one click of the mouse.

To move a letter or a chain of letters to the Inbox folder, select one or more letters and click the Put in Inbox button.
