Everyone wants to have beautiful, bright and high-quality photos, but not always available photographic equipment allows you to achieve the best image quality. To refine and improve photos, use the graphics editor Adobe Photoshop, which has great capabilities in editing and decorating photos.
Instructions
Step 1
Open a photo in Photoshop that you are not satisfied with the color balance, clarity, and other parameters. Duplicate the original layer (Duplicate Layer) and further work on the duplicate.
Step 2
Open the Filter menu and choose the Noise -> Reduce Noise command to reduce the amount of background noise in the image. Then go to adjust the brightness and contrast of the photo, for which open the menu Image -> Adjustment -> Brightness / Contrast.
Step 3
In the window that opens, specify the desired settings - for example, brightness +24, and contrast +13. Adjust the settings depending on the particular photo.
Step 4
If your photo is out of white balance and is dominated by bluish or yellow tones, adjust the white balance by going to Image -> Adjustment -> Color Balance. Reduce the amount of blue or yellow in the photo, depending on the predominant hue.
Step 5
You can also adjust the white balance using the Levels settings - select the blue channel in the levels window and move the sliders to achieve the desired result. Do the same with the yellow channel.
Step 6
If necessary, you can change the number of certain shades in the photo using the Curves window. Maintain natural color balance when editing your photo.
Step 7
Now open the menu Image -> Adjustment -> Hue / Saturation and adjust the hue and saturation of the image.
Step 8
Crop the image - determine the correct composition and then using the Crop tool in the Control Panel, select the desired area of the photo with a frame and press Enter to crop the excess edges. Correct excess highlights and too shaded areas with the Burn and Dodge tools.
Step 9
Then apply the Sharpen Edges filter to the image to make the edges of objects in the image sharper and more contrasting.
