More and more people are starting to use email. The ability to create multiple accounts for different purposes makes it easier to work with new messages. However, when all mail needs to be collected together or one of the mailboxes removed, the question arises: how to transfer mail messages?
Instructions
Step 1
Use a special mail program to transfer old mail messages from one e-mail box to another. The most common utilities are The Bat and Outlook. Their functions are similar and the interface is intuitive.
Step 2
Install one of the programs on your computer and launch it. Create a new email box where your messages will be copied. If you already have it, then just add the address in the specially designated field. Enter your username and password to gain access.
Step 3
Open the old mailbox in the program, where the necessary letters are stored. Select them using the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + A and transfer them to a new account. If you only need to select a few, hold down the Ctrl keys and click on the desired files. After the emails have been successfully copied, go to your inbox using your browser and check if they were actually delivered.
Step 4
If you want to configure your mailbox so that it accepts new letters from other accounts and saves them to yourself, you should perform some settings of the email-box in the mail service using a browser.
Step 5
Follow the direct link at the end of the article if your mailbox is registered on Yandex. The picture on the right shows which postal services the company cooperates with. In the first field, enter the address from which you want to receive emails, and in the second, the password for this account. Click the Collect Emails button and follow the instructions.
Step 6
To import messages to mail from Google from another mail service, go to your mail account and click the gear icon. Select "Settings" and then the "Accounts & Import" tab. On this tab you will see a link "Import mail" - click on it. In the preset window, add the required information about the account from which you want to retrieve messages and click "Start".
