In order to start using e-mail, you need to register on one of the sites that provide such a service. Having received a set of login and password, you can access your e-mail box from any computer or phone connected to the Internet.
Instructions
Step 1
Select the resource where you want to receive the mailbox. Go to the site of this resource, then press the button called "Register", "Register" or similar.
Step 2
A page with several data entry fields will be loaded. Enter the desired login - this is the name of the combination of characters that will appear in front of the @ ("dog") sign in the future email address. If the automatic login check is not performed, start it by pressing the "Check" button located next to it. The username may not be suitable for two reasons: it uses any other characters, except for numbers, Latin letters, periods and minus, or such a login is already taken. Then come up with another one or choose one of the options offered automatically.
Step 3
Then enter the same passwords in both of the fields provided. In it, use a meaningless combination of lowercase and uppercase Latin letters, numbers, punctuation marks. Write down the password on paper and you will remember it during the first couple of weeks of using the service.
Step 4
Now fill in the fields for the first and last name (they may not be real), date of birth, all other fields marked with asterisks - they are required. Fields without asterisks can be left blank.
Step 5
To prevent spam robots from creating mailboxes automatically, registration is provided to ensure that the account is created by a person, not a machine. For this, the so-called captcha is used - a picture with letters and numbers that are difficult for a machine to recognize, but easy for a person. Enter the line shown in the picture in the field below it.
Step 6
After all the required fields are filled in, click the button titled "Complete registration" or similar. When registering on the Gmail server, you may need to enter a phone number, receive a message with a code on it, and enter this code. Do not be alarmed - this has nothing to do with similar actions performed on fraudulent sites.
Step 7
After receiving the mailbox, press the "Exit" button, and then try to enter it under the received username and password. Having finished working with mail, press the "Exit" button again.
