YouTube is an internationally renowned site with a wide range of videos of all kinds of genres. The pleasure of watching videos can be overshadowed by constantly pop-up ads. You can disable it in one of the available ways.
Instructions
Step 1
Install a browser plugin called Adblock. This add-on blocks a variety of types of advertising: banner, text, pop-up, including during video playback on YouTube. Go to your browser settings and select "Add-ons" or "Plugins". After that, a page with all kinds of add-ons will open in the browser. Find the name you need through the search bar and click "Install".
Step 2
Configure the plugin as soon as its icon appears on the top bar of your browser after installation Click on it and view the available options. For example, you can turn off ads exclusively on YouTube or across all sites. You can also remove it from specific videos or pages by linking to them. Please note that after activating the plugin, you should close all running tabs and open them again. When blocking ads, the Adblock plugin icon will be red, and if you are on an exception page, it will be green.
Step 3
Try other plugins that block ads as well. You can find them by searching your browser add-ons page for a keyword such as "ad blocker". They act like the Adblock add-on, differing only in the presence of some additional functions and stability in a particular browser.
Step 4
Apply special scripts to block unwanted ads on any site. You can find them on the internet. Scripts are entered into the address bar of the browser, for example, immediately after the link to the video. Some commands also let you download the desired video to your computer. This will be an effective option if, for example, you often watch this or that video. So you can quickly view it without long downloads and ads.
