An e-mail address often serves as a login for authorization on a number of social networks, blogs and other resources. In addition, using e-mail, you can restore access to your account and provide access to manage it. In case of hacking of the current e-mail (or suspicion of hacking), you can replace one mailbox with another from your personal account.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have any suspicions of hacking, change all passwords: both in the account and in the current mailbox. Just in case, set a new password for the mailbox that you want to attach to your account. Make three different passwords.
Step 2
Go to your personal account. Open the "Settings" tab, then there may be an intermediate tab "Access settings" or "Security settings". Click on it.
Step 3
Scroll down to the "Change mailing address" option and enter a new address in the field. Save the settings.
Step 4
If necessary, confirm the change of postal address by receiving letters to the old and new postal addresses from the site administration. The messages will contain links that you will need to follow. Only then will the email changes take effect.
