Our mood often changes and, depending on it, each of us is inclined to change his avatar on the social network Vkontakte. This can be done quite quickly and even in two available ways.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to your profile page. There is a list of options right below your photo (avatar). The second option is “change photo”. Click on it with the left mouse button once, and you will see a list of options for adjusting the photo. Select the option "load new" and also click once with the left mouse button. A window for loading a photo has appeared in front of you.
Step 2
By clicking the "Browse" button, you will thus be able to select the desired photo from your computer in a new window that opens. As soon as a new avatar is selected - click on it, then the "open" button. A window "editing a reduced copy" appeared in front of you. Use it to select the area of the picture that will be presented on a thumbnail copy of your avatar in the lists of friends, discussions, and more. To do this, move the window square over the picture with the mouse. Then press the "save" button, and the main photo will be updated on your page.
Step 3
You can update your avatar in a different way using the photos uploaded to your albums. To do this, go to your photo albums (either by finding the link “my photos” in the column to the left of the avatar, or by finding “my photo albums” under the list of friends). Select the photo album you want and then the photo.
Step 4
At the bottom right under the picture in the list of options, find "put on my page". Click on it once. A frame appeared on the photo, by editing which you select the desired area of the photo, which will become your avatar. To do this, move the squares in the corners and at the edges of the frame by clicking on them with the left mouse button.
Step 5
After editing, click on the "done" button at the top right of the photo, and your page will open with a new master image. Otherwise, click "cancel" if the selected picture does not satisfy you with something.
