It is not always possible to write a message from your own mobile phone, but if you have a computer at hand, you can also send SMS via the Internet. To do this, you need to perform several steps.

Step 1
Determine the mobile operator of the subscriber to whom you want to send a message. To do this, in the search engine, enter a request for the operator code - the first three digits in the phone number, excluding the prefix 8 or +7. Go to the official website of the found communication service provider.
Step 2
Explore the site menu. The overwhelming majority of operators have a button or link-link "Send SMS" leading to the page for entering messages, located on the main page of the site. Left-click on it and wait for the information to update.
Step 3
Fill in the fields on the page. In most cases, you must specify the recipient subscriber's number, enter the text of the message itself and confirm your actions with a verification code ("Megafon", "Beeline"). The operator of communication "Mobile Telesystems (MTS)" must additionally indicate your phone number.
Step 4
Check the correctness of the information entered and click on the "Send" button, your message will be delivered to the selected subscriber within a few minutes. SMS status can be monitored by refreshing the page.
Step 5
The MTS operator performs a double check, therefore, after clicking on the "Send" button, you need to wait for a message with a verification code that will come to your phone. Enter the SMS confirmation code in the appropriate field, and your message will be sent to the recipient.
Step 6
Remember that the number of characters in the message is limited, so do not get carried away with writing novels. As soon as the limit mark is reached, the text will break off. A message sent via the Internet will contain not only text, but also additional information: the time of sending and the IP address.
