In order to find out how much a site weighs, use a database search of resources containing statistics on certain sites. Usually, they contain information about the most popular Internet resources, however, it is quite possible that you will find data on lesser known sites. Almost all of them contain inaccurate approximate information. Many of them have non-updated data on Internet resources.
Step 2
Go to the site you are interested in and save all its web pages in one folder using the browser's "File" menu and its "Save As" item. After that, right-click on the created folder with saved pages and go to properties from the context menu. Look at the size of the folder, this will be the approximate weight of the site.

If you want to know the full weight of your site, go to its folder, which is located on the server through the hosting admin panel, and view its size using a special menu. Sometimes it is also possible to view statistics on specific sections of the site that are of interest to you. In cases where you are interested in the size of someone else's site, contact its administrator for such information.

Use third party utilities to find out the size of your site. These can be various file managers, plugins and other programs, for example, FAR Manager.

If you need to reduce the size of your site, use specially designed utilities for cleaning them from spam and other unnecessary elements. You can also clean it manually if it is small.
